I just came back to Kauai, and found this draft which I never published. I really had great time in Crete, Greece trip in 2020. I’ve been to Greece every summer after that, including this year 2022. Every year has different excitements, learnings, and encounters. All is a special, lovely memories. I have only been to a few Greek Islands, but to me Crete feels very original. It’s big enough to have unique , original cultures, and has characters in local people. And I love them. So warm, generous, you will feel you’ve really welcomed by them.
If Athens feels like my home at the moment, I would say Crete is my heart's home.
